Roseville Extended Family Photographer | Celebrating Mom/Grandma

“To us, family means putting your arms around each other and being there.”
~Barbara Bush

I know quite a few of these family members and my daughter’s best friend happens to be one of them. It works out that I am really good friends with my daughter’s best friend’s mom as well (don't you love when that happens?). When she let me know that her mom was having a big, milestone birthday this year and her whole family would be coming together to celebrate, I was so happy to hear that they wanted pictures as a gift to their mother and grandmother. We had to squeeze them in before they all left to Lake Tahoe for a few days, so I am so glad it all worked out! We had a lot of fun together-there was a lot of laughing and playing and it is easy to tell that they have good (and funny!) memories with each other.

They are also there for each other, especially their mother. I have watched her over the years show up for her family, support them, show unconditional love, and cheer them on. She even showed up for me over the summer when we moved and helped me clean my house (and I didn’t even ask her! It was amazing.). I loved being able to spend some time with these wonderful people, getting to know them on a more personal level, and capture how they connect with one another. Family is a wonderful thing.
