You know when you meet someone and you can tell right away that they are just a down to earth, genuinely good person? That was this family. From our first contact to our actual session to their response when they received their pictures, they were so kind, so grateful, and so caring. Those are the kinds of people we all try to spend time around, right? People who lift you up, praise you, and leave you better than when they found you. I love getting to know each family I photograph and I love leaving feeling like we are friends and I would totally hang out with them outside of our family photo session.

This sweet family gifted a session to their mom/grandma for her birthday since it had been way too long since they had any kind of professional photographs taken. They traveled from Marysville and were so easy going and cheerful from the start. It didn’t take long to see that these people truly care for each other and show up for one another. They are close knit and work through whatever comes their way. Their smiles and laughter were so fun to observe as they interacted together. It was an absolute pleasure to provide the gift of photography to their family, to allow them to have this beautiful time in their lives captured and to instantly feel that strong family bond when they look back on these.
