I photographed this fabulous family for the first time last year and had such a great experience with them, so I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph them again. Just as expected, I had another great experience with them. I feel like we leave as good friends after our session and I love that feeling! It was fun to explore a new location and it is always so satisfying to find a beautiful place full of beautiful light, and this one was wheelchair friendly as well, which was quite important.

This family is so easy going and positive that it makes spending time with them so enjoyable. They brought along their new dog, which always adds fun to sessions! Dad is the family journalist and being able to document their family often is a must for him, whether that means professional photographs or not. His love for this extends beyond his own little family and it was so neat to hear about some of their family history and their appreciation for those who went before them. Family is clearly so important to them and what an honor to be able to help them show their love for one another and freeze this time for them! Photographs are definitely not only for us, but for our living family members and those yet to come. They help to tell our story.
