Roseville Lifestyle Family Photographer | Three Generations

“When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses.”
-Joyce Brothers

It was so wonderful to be able to photograph this family and to watch all the love they had for each other between generations. Grandma and Grandpa had so much pride for their daughter and grandchildren. They seemed to burst with it. I mean, just look at the way they look at one another! My heart was melting the entire session. It was so beautiful to witness and to be able to photograph these sweet moments. It is such a gift to have a connection with grandparents. I never grew up around mine, so the times we were together were so important and so cherished. These are photos that I wish I had with my own grandparents when I was a child. I loved spending time with them but I have just a couple of photos with us together and now that some have passed on, those photos have become absolute treasures. I love taking photos of my own children with their grandparents and great-grandparents and it helps to keep memories and connections alive, even though we live states away from them.

Don’t pass these opportunities up to take photos. It is always worth the effort (and patience) it will take. It doesn’t matter if they are posed or completely candid or a little blurry-take the pictures! These are precious memories that don’t last that need to be documented and shown time and time again. Keep these photos and make it a priority to take them.
