I feel so so lucky that as a family and newborn photographer, I end up meeting so many incredible and kind and wonderful people. They lift me up and make me a better mother and wife and friend. It is such a blessing in my life, and one that I didn’t realize would happen when I went into business. I love coming away from a session feeling that way and wishing I could just hang out with them and become good buddies! Ha! Well, that is totally how I felt about this sweet family. I know I often say this, but it truly is such a privilege to get a sneak peek into people’s lives and witness the deep love and admiration they have for one another. This was so apparent here. You could feel how much they mean to each other and that their family is everything to them. This darling baby girl has it so good to be in a home that is oozing with compassion, gratitude, and kindness.

This evening was perfect and even though I took these photos a little while ago and am now just getting around to blogging about it, when I look at the photos, I am still feeling the joy and happiness that I felt when I was taking the pictures. I think that is the magic of photographs-to bring back memories and have the ability to make the viewer feel and see life in a new light. That is a gift.
