A Family of Five and Their New Puppy | Roseville Family Photographer
“May you take time to celebrate the quiet miracles that seek no attention.”
-John O’Donohue
I love when families ask me to take pictures on their property. This sweet family didn’t want photos inside, but did want them outside and with a new puppy that they didn’t want to let loose and some beautiful land, it was the perfect place to capture them. That sweet puppy brought out plenty of smiles and laughter (although there was plenty of that before their dog came out for some pictures) and we had a really fun time together. It is great to be able to find a location that has meaning, which is why I love when clients suggest a place. It brings a little bit more meaning to the photos. Of course there is no pressure because I have plenty of options that will work otherwise.
I aim to create moments and memories that families can look back that will bring a smile to their faces. They will see the love they had and have for each other and the small things that become so dear: the way a baby plays with Mama’s hair or how Dad looks at Mom adoringly or those toothless grins that disappear so so quickly. You might feel like the days are so long (and they certainly feel like that during this stay at home quarantine time) and things are changing at a snail’s pace, but they are changing and will never be the same. This is why they need to be documented! The big picture, the small details, and everything in between all deserve to be captured….especially the love you have for one another.
