These people are seriously some of the best you will ever meet. They are also family to me, but even if you aren’t related to them and you know them, you would agree. When my family went out to visit them this summer, they asked me to take family pictures. We decided to do an in-home session and I was so so so excited! There is always a special kind of magic when home sessions happen. It is meaningful because it is home. It is usually pretty relaxed, so no need to stress about formal photos or dressing up too much. Kids are so comfortable, get to show off special things, get to do things like jump on the bed, and we just have a lot of fun. I was so happy to get some photos of them hanging out on their front porch where they have the coolest swings for their girls and they spend time there. I love them dearly and I am so glad we were able to capture this point in their lives and where they live. You might feel like your home isn’t perfectly done or perfectly clean or perfectly updated, but I am here as a photographer to tell you that it doesn’t matter. Those things will be in the background and the focus will be on the love and joy you have as a family. Home sessions are so special.
