It is the little things, the daily things, that matter right? Those are usually the things that we overlook or the things that feel mundane, but usually in small moments, we find beauty and memories we hope to hold onto forever. It might be smells, it might be a detail, it might be a certain experience, it might be a taste. Whatever it is, photographs can bring it all back. This sweet family was so full of love and joy and I couldn’t help but try to freeze time for them. I was dying over that sweet hand on little brother’s cheek as big sister kisses him, hearing big sister giggle as she was being twirled around, little brother’s joy as mom and dad passed him back and forth, and the way Dad looked at Mom. I know parenting is so hard and challenging on a daily basis, but it is usually the good that we try to hold onto. These are the things that can keep us going, that can continue to bring a smile to our face, that can help us realize we have a beautiful life.
