This family made me smile the whole time. I love when sessions are playful and fun and full of life and laughter. We took photos around the beautiful WPA Rock Garden close to the Sacramento Zoo. It is always so magical to explore with toddlers and to see things from their perspective. Raising young kids is exhausting but exhilarating. I want to be able to photograph it all, especially the beauty of all of it just as it is. As my own kids are growing up and we are moving away from having little babies in our house, I know how precious that time is and those memories are. I know that as a parent, you are in survival mode most of the time and it seems like the days go on forever, that time blurs, so I want to be able to document how special and fleeting this time truly is as well…because it is. I promise.
