I loved spending time with this family and getting to know them. They were down to earth and people you feel like you want to be friends with! This sweet little baby has the best big sisters and such kind parents and their home was filled with so much love! Big sisters were so excited to show me their room, their treasures, and more importantly, their darling baby. Mom and Dad seemed to be adjusting to this big change in their lives seamlessly and their calm and loving natures allowed us all to just go with the flow.

I love the relaxed atmosphere that in-home lifestyle newborn and family sessions provide. I try to keep things low key, easy going, and fun. I even let parents know that they don’t need to worry about cleaning everything before hand—we can just move things around if we need to. Plus, it is life! We take lots of time snuggling, interacting, and just being present. Kids are already so comfortable in their home that any adjustment period decreases pretty quickly and they often think it is so fun to be able to show off. Homes don’t need to be in perfect shape or a certain size to get beautiful pictures. It isn’t the home I focus on—it is the people and the love they have for each other. I promise, they are fun!
