I loved being able to meet this new family in downtown Sacramento at Capitol Park. I love the variety and beauty that this park brings and how I seem to find something new each time I go. I usually stick to areas around Roseville and Rocklin, so it is fun to sometimes venture to Sacramento. I was quickly able to tell that they were a fun family, and were full of joy and energy. We had a great time laughing and climbing trees and running around. We even ended out time with tossing up some beautiful fall leaves we stumbled upon. I think I can still hear laughter from them when I look at these pictures.

The above quote talks about soaking up every moment. I don’t know that that is a realistic thing to be able to do, and I don’t know that we actually want to soak up every moment, but I do know that the only guaranteed time we have with each other is right now. We must do our best, move forward from the hard and bad times, and try to enjoy each other. Photographs can bring us right back to those exact moments of happiness when we were together and can even bring back other senses of that time that we had long forgotten. I hope that families I have the honor of photographing can leave our time together with new memories that are happy and that they want to do over again.
