Roseville Family Photographer | Happy Family of Six

“While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about.”

—Angela Schwindt

I had been looking forward to photographing this fun, silly, and sweet family of six this spring and I am so glad I had to privilege to do so! Unfortunately, their allergies got to them, so that wasn’t exactly a pleasant way to end our session, but we had a good time leading up to it. They brought their cute dog along, which always adds to the fun. I have loved photographing so many families lately with their pets and I think it is a fantastic way to ease any stress and make everyone feel a little more comfortable right from the start. I mean, who wouldn’t love to cuddle with their dog during pictures?

We spent our time at one of my very favorite locations for spring sessions. They had me laughing from the start and it was so great to see their family dynamics unfold. It never ceases to amaze me how different personalities are with each person in a family (mine included!). It keeps things so interesting and sometimes unpredictable, but so much fun. Photographing families is never dull and I come out of it feeling so grateful to spend a little bit of my time being able to document who they are at this time. Every single time and phase is fleeting, it all passes (sometimes too quickly), and I am more sure than ever that it all deserves to be documented and remembered. Don’t delay getting those photos taken. Your kids don’t care what they look like, but they will care to have these pictures in the future. I promise. Do it for them.
