I love love love newborn sessions. I am pretty sure I say something like that with each newborn session that I post and write about. There is a magic about them that nothing can really compare. The feelings of love, exhaustion, relief, and peace that are present are beautiful. It is always an honor to be in the home of a family during this time that passes by too quickly.

This baby had been anticipated for a long time. Her parents continuously doted on her, attending to every little sound she made and anything she did. I love seeing the joy on parents’ faces as they watch every move their newborn makes, taking in the wonder of it all. It really is an incredible thing-to be able to finally meet this amazing person you created and longed for and feel like you already know them. Every coo, every sneeze, every sleepy smile, and everything else seems like the sweetest thing you have ever witnessed….and it is. That is how it should be. The love a parent has for a child is so amazing, so pure, so strong.
