Roseville Newborn Photographer | A Sweet and Happy In-Home Session with a New Family of Four

Oh, I fell in love with this family when I met them for their maternity session and I was so excited to take newborn photos when they baby came! I was definitely not disappointed. I just fell in love with them even more. We had a blast playing with big brother and snuggling little brother and just taking things as they come. I totally believe that newborn sessions should just go with the flow. Those first few days are stressful enough to have to then add on stress for photos shouldn’t be happening! We can move things in rooms if we need to, take time for feedings and diaper changes, and do whatever it takes to sooth a crying baby or toddler. It doesn’t bother me a bit and is all part of that beautiful chaos of this phase of life.

I want you to look back on these pictures and remember how much love you had for this new human that has come into your life or the way your child counted baby’s toes or how grateful you were to feel such a full life at this moment. I want that joy to come back to your memory again as you look back on photos-to the point where you can almost smell that newborn smell again or hear those sweet baby coos and grunts. Those are the things that should be held onto and the things I hope to document in our time together.
